DraftKings has added a Spanish-language option to its sportsbook and casino app as part of its push to personalise the user experience. The update introduces the DraftKings Spanish experience to a growing segment of Spanish-speaking customers. A phased rollout begins with selected users in the US and Ontario before reaching all markets where the operator is active.

  • DraftKings said Spanish-speaking users now represent one of its fastest-growing groups and will see the app switch to Spanish automatically when their device settings match. Corey Gottlieb, CPO at DraftKings, said the move creates “a more intuitive experience” while broadening the company’s reach. The language update covers onboarding, navigation, betting content and promotional features.

  • The company confirmed that the Spanish option will extend across gameplay, customer service and its Responsible Gaming Center. DraftKings noted that the full experience will continue to expand over the coming weeks. Users will need to update the app on iOS or Android to access the language change.

  • DraftKings’ wider localisation roadmap supports its presence in 28 US states plus Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and Ontario for sports betting. Its online casino runs in five states and Ontario. The DraftKings Spanish experience forms part of a longer-term plan to make the product accessible to a broader audience.
