Evoke reported lower revenue in Q3 2026. The group also updated its planned acquisition by Bally’s Intralot – see more details:
- Revenue: Group revenue fell 7% to GBP 406 million (ca. EUR 485 million). On a like-for-like basis, excluding shop closures and currency movements, revenue declined 2%. Normalised revenue was broadly stable.
- Sports results: Customer-friendly football results reduced revenue growth by around 1–2 percentage points. The Evoke Q3 2026 comparison also reflects retail closures and currency movements. Separate online betting and casino figures were not disclosed.
- Retail closures: Evoke operated around 270 fewer shops than a year earlier. CEO Per Widerström linked the closures to higher UK gaming taxes. He said: “The closure of 270 shops over the past year shows the real impact on jobs and livelihoods from higher industry taxation.”
- Bally’s Intralot acquisition: The planned takeover remains on track. Shareholders have approved the deal, with most regulatory approvals received. Completion is expected in late Q4 2026 or early Q1 2027.
- Company background: Evoke operates betting and gaming brands including William Hill, 888 and Mr Green. The London-listed group operates in several international markets. Its business covers online betting, online casino and retail betting.
