FanDuel Predicts has expanded its availability across the entire US. The platform allows users to trade on event-based outcomes instead of placing traditional bets. Access and market types still depend on state-specific rules.
FanDuel Predicts is now available to trade in all 50 states, according to the company. Users can access markets covering sports, finance, economics and commodities. However, FanDuel Predicts notes that the specific markets offered vary by state.
Sports-related prediction markets are not live nationwide. In several states, users are limited to non-sports contracts such as finance, economics and commodities. The company states that availability depends on local regulatory conditions.
FanDuel Predicts operates differently from a sportsbook product. It is based on trading outcome contracts rather than fixed-odds betting against the operator. A FanDuel spokesperson previously said the product offers “a new way to engage with real-world events through trading.”
