Flutter Entertainment is making another change at the top. The company has confirmed that Stefan Bomhard will join its board as an independent non-executive director from October 1, 2025. The move is part of Flutter’s broader board refresh.

• Bomhard is leaving his role as CEO of Imperial Brands at the end of September and will also step down from its board at the end of December. This timing clears the way for him to take on his new responsibilities at Flutter without overlap.

• His CV includes senior roles at some of the world’s best-known consumer businesses, including Inchcape, Bacardi, Cadbury, Unilever, Diageo’s Burger King arm and Procter & Gamble. He also sits on the board of Compass Group as a non-executive director.

• Flutter chair John Bryant said the appointment followed an “extensive search,” adding that Bomhard’s international experience in sales and marketing of global brands will be valuable. The board has also confirmed his status as an independent director under NYSE rules.
