Formula 1 has confirmed Betway as its first official betting operator starting with the 2026 season. The agreement forms part of a multi-year deal covering several international markets. The Formula 1 Betway partnership introduces new betting markets built on the sport’s extensive race data.
The agreement covers markets across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, as well as Canada and Mexico representing the first official betting operator partnership signed by Formula 1. Through the Formula 1 Betway partnership, the operator will gain brand visibility across race weekends and official platforms.
The partnership will also rely on ALT Sports Data, Formula 1’s official betting data supplier. The company will provide predictive analytics and data drawn from the sport’s race systems. This information will support real-time betting markets created within the Formula 1 Betway partnership.
Betway will offer in-play betting focused on race strategy elements such as safety cars, pit windows and on-track battles. The betting markets will use official race data to reflect developments during the event. Jonny Haworth, Director of Commercial Partnerships at Formula 1, said: “Sports betting is now a natural extension of how many modern fans engage with live events.”
