Fortuna Entertainment Group (FEG) is stepping into Lithuania with a deal to take control of TOPsport. The Fortuna TOPsport acquisition marks its entry into the Baltic region’s largest market. It also brings a well-established local operator into the group.
FEG has agreed to acquire a 70% stake in TOPsport, which leads Lithuania’s online betting and gaming market. The move gives the group immediate scale in a new country. It also adds another regulated market to its Central and Eastern Europe footprint.
TOPsport was founded in 2002 and is headquartered in Kaunas, where it has built a steady position over the years. The company holds more than half of Lithuania’s online market and combines this with a network of 54 retail locations. Its operations are mainly digital, but retail still plays a supporting role.
Financially, TOPsport reported EBITDA of EUR 65m in 2025, with margins above 50%. The business has also grown at roughly 30% per year since 2020. That performance helps explain why the Fortuna TOPsport acquisition stands out as a key investment for the group.
FEG said the Baltics offer further room for expansion, with Lithuania seen as a logical next step. CEO Dieter John described the deal as a “decisive step” in the company’s long-term plans. Both sides also pointed to continued focus on compliance, responsible gambling and stable platform operations going forward.
