Genius Sports has officially appointed Bryan Castellani as its new Chief Financial Officer. The move comes as the company sharpens its focus on profitable growth and expansion in the US market. Castellani steps into the Genius Sports CFO role following Nick Taylor, who will remain during the transition to ensure a smooth handover.

  • Castellani brings more than 20 years of finance experience from senior roles at Disney, ESPN, and Warner Music Group, where he most recently served as EVP and CFO.

  • In his new role, Castellani will oversee all aspects of Genius Sports’ global finance operations, including accounting, treasury, tax, investor relations, compliance, and capital allocation.

  • CEO Mark Locke said the appointment comes at a pivotal moment, adding: “Bryan combines financial discipline with an understanding of scaling media platforms, which is exactly what we need as we take Genius Sports into its next growth phase.”
