Genius Sports has reported another year of strong growth. Revenue increased across its main business lines as demand for sports data, betting services and media products continued to rise. In Genius Sports FY 2025, both revenue and EBITDA moved higher compared with the previous year.
Group revenue reached USD 669.5m in Genius Sports FY 2025, up 31% from USD 510.9m in 2024. Adjusted EBITDA rose 59% to USD 136.2m as margins improved across the business. The adjusted EBITDA margin reached 20.4% for the full year.
The Betting Technology, Content & Services division remained the largest part of the business. Revenue in this segment increased 33% year on year to USD 471.5m. Growth came from renewed contracts with higher pricing, expansion of services and new customer agreements.
Media Technology, Content & Services also recorded solid growth during Genius Sports FY 2025. Revenue in the segment climbed 37% to USD 144.5m. The increase was mainly driven by demand for programmatic advertising services and new partnerships with brands and agencies in the Americas.
Despite higher revenue, the company reported a net loss of USD 111.6m for the year, compared with a USD 63.0m loss in 2024. The increase was mainly linked to stock-based compensation related to the extended NFL agreement and other one-off costs. In the fourth quarter, the net loss narrowed to USD 20.6m from USD 28.2m a year earlier.
Looking ahead, the company expects further growth in 2026. Genius Sports forecasts revenue of USD 810m to USD 820m and adjusted EBITDA of USD 180m to USD 190m on a standalone basis. CEO Mark Locke said: “2025 was a year of accelerated Group Revenue growth and record Group Adj. EBITDA for Genius Sports.”
