Gentoo Media has confirmed that it’s CFO steps down. The Gentoo Media CFO change comes after a period of restructuring following the company’s 2024 split. The Malta-based affiliate said its strategy, operations and financial outlook remain unchanged.

• Gentoo Media has announced the resignation of CFO Mads Haugegaard Albrechtsen. The company said it is working closely with him to ensure an orderly handover of responsibilities. Its strategy, operations and financial outlook remain unchanged.
• Albrechtsen played a role in Gentoo Media’s transformation following the 2024 split and the strategic realignment launched in 2025. The company said he helped strengthen financial processes and support organisational changes. Gentoo Media described the transition as part of its next phase as a leaner and more focused business.
• The board and management have started the search for a new CFO. CEO Jonas Warrer thanked Albrechtsen for his contribution during a period of change, while the outgoing CFO said he would support a smooth transition. Both parties said they remain committed to ensuring continuity for employees and stakeholders.
