Gibraltar is looking for a new Gambling Commissioner and Executive Director to lead its Gambling Division. The appointment comes with a two-year term and the option of renewal. The Gibraltar Gambling Commissioner will oversee regulatory operations and help shape the jurisdiction’s long-term gambling strategy.
- The role combines regulatory leadership with responsibility for the day-to-day management of Gibraltar’s Gambling Division. Candidates must have at least five years of senior experience in the gambling or remote gaming sector. The position is based in Gibraltar and requires residency upon appointment.
- Applicants are expected to bring expertise in gaming taxation and fiscal policy. Gibraltar is also seeking candidates with experience engaging with HM Treasury, UK government departments and regulators on issues such as taxation, regulation and market access. These areas are viewed as important to maintaining the territory’s competitiveness.
- International experience is another key requirement for the Gibraltar Gambling Commissioner role. Candidates should understand licensing frameworks, regulatory systems and commercial developments across multiple gambling markets. Applications close on 14 July 2026, with interviews scheduled throughout September 2026.
