High Roller is moving into Canada. The Las Vegas-based operator has officially applied for an Ontario online casino license. The company plans to go live in the province by the second half of 2025.
High Roller Technologies submitted its license application to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario. The move marks its first step toward launching HighRoller.com in one of the world’s biggest regulated iGaming markets. Ontario generated $2.3 billion in GGR in 2024, with continued growth into 2025.
CEO Ben Clemes called the Ontario license application a “milestone” for the company. He confirmed that High Roller expects to launch later this year if approved. “We’re excited to roll out the red carpet for our new customers,” he added.
High Roller Technologies is listed on the NYSE under the ticker ROLR. It operates two online casino brands: High Roller and Fruta. The company says its platform supports over 5,000 games from 90+ providers.
The Ontario online casino license application follows recent regulatory developments in Canada. Alberta passed legislation to set up its own online gambling framework. High Roller also plans to seek licensing in Alberta once the process is open.
High Roller is known for machine learning-based search, API integrations, and fast load times. The operator’s strategy focuses on scaling in regulated markets. Its goal is to build a stronger footprint across North America.
