The Hong Kong Jockey Club has confirmed that Casper Stylsvig (see picture below) will step in as Executive Director, Sports Business, from 15 January 2026. The Hong Kong Jockey Club appointment comes as the organisation looks to expand its international sports footprint and grow both wagering and non-wagering revenue. Stylsvig will join the Board of Management and report directly to CEO Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges.
Stylsvig will head the Club’s sports business division, overseeing horse racing, football, lottery and emerging sports ventures. He’ll be responsible for finding new income sources through sponsorships and partnerships, managing the Club’s Racecourse Master Plan, and leading efforts to grow Hong Kong racing’s global profile.
Before joining the Club, Stylsvig held senior commercial roles at Chelsea, AC Milan, Manchester United and FC Barcelona. At Chelsea, he helped overhaul the commercial setup, launched a five-year strategy and achieved strong growth across multiple business areas.
Stylsvig said, “I’m looking forward to working with Winfried and the team to innovate, expand internationally, and create world-class experiences for fans and customers.”
