The International Association of Gaming Regulators has appointed its first chief executive officer. The IAGR CEO appointment reflects the group’s growing global workload. Kevin Mullally takes on the newly created role with immediate effect.
The IAGR CEO appointment establishes an executive function, while governance stays with the Board of Trustees. Mullally will implement board strategy and improve coordination across conferences and member services. The change reflects rising cross-border regulatory demands.
Mullally has extensive experience in gaming regulation and public policy. He has overseen regulatory systems, worked on responsible gambling and addressed illegal market activity. IAGR President Ben Haden said: “Kevin brings an extraordinary depth of regulatory experience and a global perspective that aligns perfectly with IAGR’s mission.”
An early focus will be the IAGR2026 Annual Conference in Lima this October. The event will bring together regulators from established and emerging markets, including Latin America. Mullally said he aims to expand collaboration and share practical solutions across jurisdictions.
