SciPlay CEO transition announced by Light & Wonder

Light & Wonder has announced a change at the top of its social casino business SciPlay. Josh Wilson will step down as CEO on October 30, 2026. The SciPlay CEO transition comes as his current contract ends.

Wilson will remain CEO until October 30 to support the handover. Light & Wonder has started searching for his successor. Wilson has spent more than two decades with SciPlay.
Light & Wonder CFO Oliver Chow will take executive oversight of SciPlay from November 1. He will keep his CFO position while working with SciPlay’s existing management team. The arrangement will remain until a new CEO is appointed.
Light & Wonder said the SciPlay CEO transition will not change its social casino strategy or brand portfolio. CEO Matt Wilson said: “We are taking the time to appoint the right leader for SciPlay’s next phase.” SciPlay will remain a separate reporting segment of Light & Wonder.
SciPlay develops and publishes social casino and casual mobile games. Its portfolio includes titles such as Jackpot Party Casino, Quick Hit Slots and 88 Fortunes. SciPlay operates as part of Light & Wonder.
