Kambi Group and Churchill Downs Incorporated have renewed their long-standing sportsbook agreement. The deal keeps Kambi’s retail technology in place across CDI’s US venues. The Kambi Churchill Downs partnership remains focused on on-site sports betting tied to racing locations.
The renewed multi-year agreement sees Churchill Downs continue to use Kambi’s Turnkey Sportsbook across its US retail estate. Kambi’s solution supports sportsbook operations at racetracks and casino-style venues. The partnership covers both existing locations and future retail expansion.
Kambi’s retail sportsbook technology is currently live at 15 Churchill Downs sportsbooks across eight states. Under the extended deal, CDI plans to enter a ninth state with a retail sportsbook launch in Maine in December 2025. This will increase the group’s physical sports betting footprint in the US.
Kambi’s offering includes trading services, betting kiosks and over-the-counter wagering designed for high-traffic retail environments. The setup allows sports betting to operate alongside CDI’s core horse racing business. Bill Mudd, President and COO of Churchill Downs Incorporated, said: “Kambi’s proven technology aligns with our mission to deliver exceptional wagering experiences in both sports and horse racing.”
