Kambi has secured a new operator agreement ahead of Finland’s move to a licensed betting market in 2027. The Kambi SuomiVeto partnership will see the supplier power a new brand with its Turnkey Sportsbook. SuomiVeto is preparing to go live when Finland opens its regulated market in July 2027.
SuomiVeto is led by the team behind BetCity, which entered the Dutch regulated market in 2021 using Kambi’s sportsbook technology. That launch marked one of the early private operator entries in the Netherlands. The same management group is now applying that experience to Finland under the Kambi SuomiVeto partnership.
Under the agreement, Kambi will provide its full Turnkey Sportsbook, including platform services, pricing and trading, compliance capabilities and a broad sports betting offering. The solution is designed to support operators entering newly regulated jurisdictions. Kambi will also deliver operational support as SuomiVeto prepares for launch in 2027.
Finland is set to replace its monopoly system with a licensing framework in mid-2027, opening the door to new entrants. SuomiVeto aims to establish its presence from day one with a focused marketing strategy. Kambi CEO Werner Becher said: “We are delighted to partner with SuomiVeto ahead of the launch of Finland’s regulated market.”
