LeoVegas Group has expanded its footprint in its home market after securing a new betting licence in Sweden – see more details:

  • The LeoVegas Sweden license was granted by the Swedish Gambling Authority, adding a betting permit to GoGoCasino’s existing casino licence. This allows the brand to offer sports betting alongside its current casino products. The launch brings sportsbook functionality into an established local platform.
  • GoGoCasino’s new sportsbook is powered by Tiger, the group’s proprietary technology acquired from Tipico in 2024. LeoVegas has since developed the platform internally to support multi-market deployment. The rollout in Sweden follows earlier launches in Denmark and the Netherlands.
  • The Tiger integration introduces features such as bet builder, daily boosted odds and partial cash-out. Live betting is also a central part of the offering. These tools are designed to support in-play engagement during sports events.
  • Adrian Vella, Chief Product and Technology Officer at LeoVegas Group, said: “Launching our proprietary sportsbook, Tiger, on our home turf in Sweden is a massive milestone for the entire Group.” He added that teams have worked across markets to support the rollout. The statement highlights the internal focus on product development.
