Light & Wonder has made a high-profile move as it strengthens its corporate leadership. The company has appointed Rohan Gallagher as EVP, Global Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, a newly created role. The Light & Wonder appointment comes as the business prepares for a sole listing on the Australian Securities Exchange.
Gallagher will be based in Sydney and take charge of Investor Relations, Environmental, Social and Governance, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Global Communications. The role is designed to bring these functions under one umbrella as L&W sharpens its global focus. He officially joined the company on 25 September 2025.
CFO Oliver Chow highlighted Gallagher’s track record, saying: “I’ve worked with Rohan for many years in different capacities, and his knowledge of the gaming industry and what it takes to succeed are unparalleled.” Chow noted the timing was important with the upcoming ASX transition.
Gallagher most recently worked at Jarden Group as Managing Director within Institutional Equities, where he oversaw Sales, Research, and Corporate Broking. His responsibilities included coverage of the gaming sector, including Light & Wonder itself in Australia.
Prior to Jarden, Gallagher spent four years at Aristocrat as General Manager of Investor Relations & Treasury. Earlier roles included senior IR and corporate affairs positions at Ampol, as well as more than a decade at Credit Suisse Australia.
In his own words, Gallagher said the company’s “legacy of creating the world’s best games, coupled with its desire to further enhance stakeholder engagement, deeply align with my passions and experience.” He added that he looks forward to strengthening connections with communities and helping drive the company’s next growth phase.
