Light & Wonder increased earnings in Q2 2026 which were driven by Gaming operations and iGaming, while the company kept its full-year guidance – see more details:
- Revenue increased 2% year-on-year to USD 828 million, while net income rose 26% to USD 120 million. Adjusted EBITDA reached USD 383 million, up 9%, and adjusted earnings per share increased 26% to $1.99. Operating cash flow more than doubled to USD 241 million.
- Gaming revenue grew 5% to USD 554 million, helped by an 18% increase in Gaming operations. The North American premium installed base expanded for the 24th straight quarter with 652 additional units, while Grover added another 277 charitable gaming units. Gaming machine sales were down 4% due to shipment timing. Light & Wonder Q2 2026 showed continued growth in recurring revenue.
- iGaming revenue rose 14% to USD 92 million and quarterly wagers on the OpenGaming platform reached a record USD 31.3 billion. SciPlay revenue declined 9% as the social casino market remained soft, although direct-to-consumer revenue continued to grow.
- The company repurchased $134 million of shares during the quarter and maintained its target to reduce net leverage below 3.0x in the first half of 2027. CEO Matt Wilson said: “Our second quarter results reflect continued execution of our content-centric operating model.”
