Brightstar has announced a leadership transition within its lottery business.  The Brightstar leadership changes will take effect on 1 July.

• After 20 years in senior leadership roles, Renato Ascoli will step down as CEO of Global Lottery on 30 June after helping shape the company’s lottery products, technology and commercial strategy. Executive Chair Marco Sala thanked him for his contribution, saying: “Renato has made a tremendous impact on our company and the lottery industry.”
• Marco Tasso has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Global Lottery. Currently COO of International and Italy Operations, he brings more than two decades of lottery and gaming experience. The Brightstar leadership changes place him in charge of global lottery operations, including technology, product development, sales and customer support.
• Tasso previously served as CEO of Northstar Lottery Group and held senior leadership roles at Lottomatica. Brightstar CEO Vince Sadusky said Tasso’s experience will help drive the company’s next phase of growth and operational development. The Brightstar leadership changes come as the business continues to strengthen its focus on lottery operations worldwide.
