NorthStar Gaming has appointed Corey Goodman as permanent CEO after serving on an interim basis since December 2025. The NorthStar Gaming CEO has led the operator while it addresses financial reporting issues. NorthStar also announced changes across its finance and compliance teams.
- Goodman has served as interim CEO since 8 December 2025, overseeing NorthStar during a period of financial and operational stabilization. He now takes the position permanently. Chair Dean MacDonald said: “Corey has brought focus and discipline to the Company at a pivotal time.”
- CFO Chin Dhushenthen resigned on 17 August but will stay as an adviser until the audits are completed. Ben Powell, who has been with NorthStar since its launch, becomes interim CFO. His experience includes financing, capital raising and financial planning.
- Krisztina Kalla has been appointed Vice President, Compliance and will oversee regulatory compliance. NorthStar has also hired a Chartered Professional Accountant as a consultant. The changes strengthen the finance and compliance functions under the NorthStar Gaming CEO.
- NorthStar operates NorthStarBets.ca, an Ontario online casino and sportsbook regulated through iGaming Ontario and the AGCO (Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario). Playtech provides its technology platform and is NorthStar’s largest shareholder.
