Octoplay’s push into regulated markets shows no sign of slowing. The latest deal brings its slots portfolio to Denmark’s Danske Spil. This Nordic iGaming expansion follows hot on the heels of moves in Sweden, the Netherlands, and the UK.
Octoplay has teamed up with Danske Spil, Denmark’s national gambling operator. The deal gives Danish players access to Octoplay’s full suite of slots. It’s a step that further consolidates the supplier’s presence in the Nordic iGaming expansion strategy.
This is not Octoplay’s first state-owned partner in the region. It recently launched with Svenska Spel in Sweden and JACKS.NL in the Netherlands. Each deal signals the company’s ability to win over top-tier regulated operators.
Octoplay now has a growing network of direct operator integrations. These include the Rank Group in the UK, cementing its strategy of targeting major brands. Each integration follows a data-backed content delivery model.
Ralitsa Georgieva of Octoplay said the Danske Spil deal is a “significant milestone” and praised the brand’s national reputation. She noted that Danske Spil gives Octoplay an “exceptional platform” to reach Danish players.
Simon Hoffmann Riis from Danske Spil said Octoplay brings a “data-driven approach” that supports responsible, engaging entertainment. He emphasized how the supplier’s content aligns with the operator’s high standards.
Octoplay now holds active licenses in 10 European markets. Its commercial growth is reflected in a 2024 average of five new integrations per month. The company now works with over 80 operators.
This Nordic iGaming expansion comes alongside Octoplay’s U.S. ambitions. The supplier has picked up provisional licenses in Michigan and New Jersey. Its transatlantic growth is following the same playbook: fast entry, smart partnerships, and game innovation.
