Paf is stepping into a big role in Finnish winter sports. The operator has agreed a long-term deal with the Finnish Ski Association – see more details:
Paf will become the main partner of the Finnish Ski Association once Finland’s new licensing system takes effect, with the deal running through 2030. The agreement covers national A-teams in cross-country skiing, nordic combined and ski jumping, as well as U23 and U20 cross-country squads. It also includes partnerships with FIS World Cup events in Ruka and Lahti, and the Finnish Cup.
Paf highlighted shared values and visibility across Finland’s most-followed winter sports. “Our shared values provide an excellent foundation for a long-lasting collaboration,” said Paf manager Thomas Näsman, stressing its focus on responsible gaming.
Marleena Valtasola, executive director of the association, said it is one of the most significant sponsorship agreements in its history.
The deal comes as Finland prepares to end Veikkaus’ monopoly on online betting, bingo and casino by 2026. Licensed operators are expected to launch services in early 2027.
