OddsMatrix has had quite the season when it comes to football betting growth. The sportsbook platform, part of EveryMatrix, shared fresh numbers for 2024/25 that show bettors are getting more creative — and more active — than ever. One of the biggest shifts? A huge spike in player prop betting.

  • The platform’s average football betting margin hit 11.8% during 2024/25, a solid jump from last season. This covers everything from domestic leagues to the Champions League and international tournaments. The rise reflects smarter pricing and a wider spread of markets.

  • Total turnover on football betting grew 28% year-on-year. The number of bets shot up too, climbing from 241.5 million in 2023/24 to 324.1 million this season. OddsMatrix’s push to bring on new partners — plus growth from existing clients — clearly paid off.

  • The standout story was player prop betting, which saw turnover rise by a massive 72% compared to the previous year. Revenue from these bets also jumped 84%, showing that punters love markets like Shots on Target and Player to be Booked. This kind of bet puts the focus squarely on individual player performance.

  • When it came to the Champions League, bettors really went all-in on player props. Bets on shots soared 158% year-on-year, while wagers on assists climbed 149%. These jumps were helped by a new integration with Kero Sports and upgrades to OddsMatrix’s own prop pricing tools.

  • Bet Builder continued to gain ground, with turnover climbing 127% from last year. More players are piecing together custom bets, and the stronger in-house pricing made these options even more attractive. Bet Builders have become a core part of the overall football betting growth story.

  • OddsMatrix picked up some big awards recently too. The company was named Sports Betting Supplier and Sportsbook Platform Supplier of the Year at the EGR B2B Awards 2025. EveryMatrix, its parent, took home three other prizes, including Full Service Platform of the Year.

  • CEO Tor Skeie summed up the season by saying: “It’s been another memorable club football season, with standout moments from PSG, Liverpool and Napoli. We’re proud to have achieved exceptional year-on-year growth across our core football product metrics.”

  • Beyond football, OddsMatrix rolled out a new horse racing product this year and made several upgrades to its sportsbook. These included more event coverage, faster bet settlement, and smarter risk management — all aimed at giving partners a better, more flexible platform.

  • During 2024/25, the company also signed a number of new sportsbook deals. With more updates planned for 2025/26, OddsMatrix wants to keep pushing its football betting growth and stay ahead of changing bettor habits.
