Play’n GO has joined the German Online Casino Association (DOCV). The Play’n GO DOCV membership was unanimously approved. The supplier will work with the association on issues affecting Germany’s regulated online casino market.

  • The DOCV represents Germany’s regulated online casino industry. Its work focuses on regulation, fair competition and player protection. Melanie Hainzer, Market Owner DACH at Play’n GO, will represent the supplier within the association.
  • Play’n GO highlighted competition from illegal operators as a key concern. The company said industry estimates put channelisation at 30% to 50%, while official estimates are higher. Magnus Olsson, Chief Commercial Officer, said: “Good regulation must protect players, but it must also create a licensed market that players actively choose to use.”
  • The Play’n GO DOCV membership will also support discussions with regulators and policymakers. The supplier operates in more than 35 regulated jurisdictions and plans to share its experience with the association. The DOCV also works on gambling-related harm, addiction prevention and the protection of minors.
