PMU has partnered with BetMakers Technology Group to grow its international horse racing business. The PMU BetMakers partnership combines pool and fixed-odds betting for operators outside France. PMU handles more than EUR 9 billion in annual horse racing stakes.

• PMU will use BetMakers’ technology to offer international operators an integrated pool and fixed-odds betting service. The PMU BetMakers partnership is aimed in particular at markets where fixed-odds horse racing betting is common. It also gives PMU another route to distribute French racing internationally.
• PMU said the agreement should open more commercial opportunities for French racing and generate additional revenue for the French horse racing industry. French races are already offered internationally by pool and fixed-odds operators. “This partnership marks an important step in our international development strategy,” said PMU International Director Aymeric Verlet.
• BetMakers provides technology and services for horse racing betting and will support the combined international offering. The PMU BetMakers partnership adds to PMU’s strategy of making French racing available to more operators outside its home market.
