Raketech is shaking up its boardroom. The affiliate marketing company has put forward Kathryn Baker as its next Chair. Also joining the Raketech board is Magnus Alebo, with both appointments set to take effect on 30 July 2025. These Raketech board changes reflect the company’s focus on strategic leadership and industry experience.
Kathryn Baker is nominated to replace Ulrik Bengtsson, who steps down as Chair and board member on 30 July. She has more than 25 years of experience in private equity, venture capital and public company boards. Her past roles include Chair of Catena Media and board member at Gaming Innovation Group.
The nomination committee pointed to Kathryn’s track record in governance, investments, and M&A as a strong fit for Raketech’s transformation. She is expected to contribute to strategic growth, operational oversight, and capital market engagement. Her industry-specific experience aligns with Raketech’s affiliate marketing model.
Magnus Alebo is also nominated to join the board on the same date. He has held executive marketing roles at Betsson Group and Mr Green/William Hill, and was Managing Director at Hero Gaming. In addition, he founded Casumba Media, bringing entrepreneurial insight into the mix.
CEO Johan Svensson welcomed the nominations and highlighted the value both candidates bring. “Their leadership experience and deep sector expertise will be a significant asset,” he said. He added that their input will be critical as Raketech focuses on growth and shareholder value.
These Raketech board changes are part of a broader effort to refresh governance and support long-term goals. The company continues to operate in affiliate and content marketing across sports and gaming. Its shares are listed on Nasdaq First North Premier Growth Market under the RAKE ticker.
