Rank Group expects to beat market expectations for the financial year ended 30 June 2026. The Rank trading update shows like-for-like net gaming revenue increased 6% to around GBP 834.1 million (ca. EUR 978 million). The company now expects underlying operating profit of at least GBP 76 million (ca. EUR 89 million).

  • Group revenue increased 6% year-on-year to GBP 834.1 million, while fourth-quarter revenue also grew 6% to GBP 208.9 million (ca. EUR 245 million). Rank said tight cost control supported the stronger profit performance. The Rank trading update points to steady growth across the business.
  • Grosvenor Casinos increased annual revenue by 5% to GBP 397.3 million (ca. EUR 465 million), with gaming machine revenue up 12% in the fourth quarter. The company said machine optimisation is delivering results after expanding its estate earlier in the year. It expects further growth from this area.
  • Digital revenue grew 8% for the year and 12% in the fourth quarter. Rank said it offset the impact of the higher UK Remote Gaming Duty through cost savings while continuing to invest in customer acquisition. Mecca and Enracha also delivered results in line with expectations.
  • Rank expects to book a GBP 5 million (ca. EUR 5.9 million) provision for a proposed Gambling Commission settlement linked to historical compliance issues. CEO Richard Harris said: “Our expected profit outturn for the year reflects the progress we have made in executing our plan for growth”.
