Spain’s regulated online gambling market excluding lotteries generated EUR 539.2 million in GGR during Q2 2026. Spain online gambling revenue increased ca. 19% from Q1 and ca. 31% compared with Q2 2025. The figures come from the latest market data published by the Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego (DGOJ) – see more details:
- In Q2 2026 betting GGR reached ca. EUR 253.6m, up ca. 45% quarter-on-quarter and ca. 48% year-on-year. Conventional fixed-odds sports betting increased ca. 84% from Q1 2026, while live betting rose ca. 15%. Betting accounted for ca. 47% of total GGR during the quarter.
- Casino remained slightly ahead with GGR of ca. EUR 261.3m in Q2 2026, representing ca 48% of the market. Casino revenue increased 5.6% from Q1 2026 and ca. 21% year-on-year, with slots up ca. 22% compared with Q2 2025. Casino and betting together generated ca. 95% of Spain online gambling GGR.
- In Q2 2026 poker generated more than EUR 21m and bingo ca. EUR 3.3m in GGR. Poker fell ca. 26% from Q1 2026 but remained ca. 10% above the previous year, while bingo declined ca. 8.7% quarterly and ca. 2.3% annually. Poker and bingo together represented around 4.5% of total quarterly GGR.
- Amounts wagered exceeded EUR 11.22bn during Q2 2026, while player deposits reached EUR 1.66bn. The two measures should not be treated as the same figure because amounts wagered can include winnings that are subsequently wagered again. Deposits increased ca. 22.8% year-on-year, while withdrawals reached EUR 1.12bn, up ca, 16.7%.
- The longer-term DGOJ series shows continued growth in Spain online gambling. Annual GGR increased from about EUR 851m in 2020 to EUR 1.7bn in 2025, while amounts wagered rose from EUR 21.6bn to EUR 40.8bn over the same period (see exhibit below). The 2026 figures are not directly comparable with these full-year totals because only the first two quarters are currently available.
Lottery figures are not included in the DGOJ online gambling totals. Spain’s main lottery products are operated separately by SELAE and ONCE and are outside the online gambling market data used here. The figures therefore cover products such as betting, casino, poker and bingo, rather than Spain’s overall gambling market including lotteries.
