Sportradar has confirmed Breon Corcoran as a new non-executive board member, effective since 11 December 2025. Corcoran is currently CEO of IG Group and has held senior leadership roles across betting, gaming and fintech. The Sportradar board appointment comes as the company continues to scale its sports data and technology operations.
Corcoran brings experience from a range of regulated industries, having previously served as CEO of Paddy Power Betfair, now Flutter Entertainment, and earlier as CEO of Betfair. He also led international payments business Zepz, formerly WorldRemit Group, between 2018 and 2022. His career includes building and managing businesses across Europe, Australia and the US.
In addition to executive roles, Corcoran was chair of Auction Technology Group from 2022 to 2024, adding listed-company board experience. Jeffery Yabuki, chair of Sportradar, said Corcoran offers “a wealth of leadership experience across multiple industries including a deep understanding of the sports technology and data landscape”. He added that this would support the company’s long-term development.
Sportradar founder and CEO Carsten Koerl said the Sportradar board appointment aligns with ongoing innovation and international growth plans. Corcoran said he is looking forward to working with the board and management team to support the company’s next phase. “Sportradar has built an impressive business in sports technology,” he said.
