Sportradar has launched Playradar as a new iGaming brand for regulated markets. The Playradar launch builds on the supplier’s sports data and streaming business by linking sportsbook and casino products. The new brand will roll out content during 2026, starting with the UK, North America and Latin America.
- Sportradar said Playradar will deliver a cross-vertical gaming ecosystem for global operators. The offer connects sportsbook and casino experiences through hybrid content built on sports data and streaming. The company positions the launch as part of its broader iGaming expansion strategy.
- The Playradar launch includes products combining live and historical sports data with casino mechanics. This covers live streaming-based games, virtual sports and a range of casino content such as slots and table games. A live prediction product powered by Sportradar’s data is also part of the rollout.
- A 24/7 live experience centre is a core feature of the new brand. Players will be able to watch live sports streams while playing games on the same screen. The format also supports player interaction through shared content, reactions and in-session engagement.
- Carsten Koerl said the new unit is “a natural and scalable extension” of Sportradar’s business. The company added that Playradar will be distributed through its existing operator network and focus only on regulated markets. Edo Haitin, recently appointed to lead the iGaming division, will oversee the rollout and development.
