Svenska Spel Sport & Casino has made a new senior hire. The operator has confirmed that Robert Nygren is stepping in as head of sales and marketing. The Svenska Spel appointment places him in charge of household brands such as Stryktipset and Oddset.
Robert Nygren started his role in mid August 2025 and joined the management team, reporting directly to CEO Fredrik Wastensson. He is tasked with developing sales, marketing and brand strategy for Svenska Spel Sport & Casino.
Nygren previously worked at Telenor as marketing manager and creative director, and earlier at If where he built a Nordic in-house agency. He also has experience in the advertising sector as a project manager.
At Svenska Spel, Nygren will oversee Stryktipset and Oddset, with a focus on digital marketing and customer satisfaction. “Getting to work with all of Sweden’s gaming companies feels like getting 13 right on Stryktipset. A dream assignment, quite simply,” he said.
