Tabcorp reported its results for the 12 months to 30 June 2026 – see more details:

  • Wagering revenue increased 0.4% to AUD 2.28bn (ca EUR 1.4bn). Domestic wagering revenue rose 0.9% to AUD 2.05bn (ca. EUR 1.3bn), while international wagering fell 3.7% to AUD 223m (ca. EUR 138m). Tabcorp calls this wagering revenue rather than GGR, although it reflects turnover after customer winnings are deducted. The wagering business covers sports and racing betting.
  • Domestic wagering turnover reached AUD 13.86bn (ca. EUR 8.6bn), up 0.9%. Sports betting turnover increased 8.3% to AUD 3.08bn (ca. EUR 1.9bn), while racing turnover fell 1.1% to AUD 10.79bn (ca. EUR 6.7bn). Turnover represents all stakes placed by customers, not revenue.
  • Tabcorp’s wagering operations are focused on sports and racing betting. The company takes bets through its TAB brand across digital channels and a large retail network in Australia. Racing remains the larger part of wagering turnover, accounting for around 78% of domestic turnover in FY26.
  • Digital accounted for around 52% of Tabcorp’s domestic wagering revenue in FY26. Digital revenue reached AUD 1.07bn (ca. EUR 661m), while cash/retail revenue was AUD 981m (ca. EUR 606m). Digital also represented about 61% of the AUD 13.86bn domestic wagering turnover.
  • Wagering & Media revenue increased 0.7% to AUD 2.45bn (ca EUR 1.5bn). This figure includes wagering and media activities and therefore should not be treated as gambling revenue or GGR. Group revenue, including Integrity Services, was AUD 2.64bn (ca EUR 1.6bn).
  • Group EBITDA before significant items increased 10.3% to AUD 431.7m (ca. EUR 267m) while statutory net profit rose 26.5% to AUD 46.3m (ca. EUR 28.6m). CEO Gillon McLachlan said Tabcorp was “executing on the plan”. The company expects FY27 domestic wagering turnover growth broadly in line with FY26, excluding the FIFA World Cup.
  • Tabcorp is mainly focused on the Australian gambling market. It offers sports and racing betting through TAB – originally short for Totalisator Agency Board – online and through around 4,400 retail outlets. Tabcorp has been active in gambling since 1994.
