Tipico has published its 2024 ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) report, and the numbers show steady movement in the right areas. The Tipico ESG report highlights a risky gambling turnover of less than 1.5%, alongside new training milestones and environmental steps. The operator continues to focus on regulated markets, staff development, and a clear path toward carbon neutrality.
Tipico’s 2024 ESG report confirms that risky gambling turnover was kept below 1.5% of overall turnover. This figure reflects turnover from customers who later self-excluded or were excluded before full intervention. The company intends to keep this KPI consistently at or below that level.
A national responsible gaming TV campaign reached over 4 million viewers across sports events and social media. Tipico also continued funding research, treatment programs, and annual evaluations of its player protection measures. These initiatives support the company’s long-term customer care approach.
Tipico operates entirely within regulated markets, aligning its operations with compliance standards in each jurisdiction. This ensures a consistent approach to player protection and responsible gaming practices. The company positions regulatory alignment as a business foundation.
Over 2,300 employees from 87 nations work at Tipico, with more than 15,000 training hours delivered in 2024. The training supports career development and leadership skills across the business. The company maintains structured career paths and transparent compensation frameworks.
Environmental progress is another focus in the Tipico ESG report, with a target of carbon neutrality by 2030. Scope 2 CO₂e emissions were reduced by 41% in 2024 compared to 2023. These cuts bring Tipico closer to its goal of eliminating Scope 1 and 2 emissions.
- CEO Axel Hefer said: “This ESG report reflects our commitment to long-term value creation for all stakeholders, and it shows that growth and responsibility go hand in hand at Tipico.” His remarks point to the company’s ongoing balance between business growth and sustainability.
