Veikkaus isn’t going anywhere when it comes to Finnish football betting. The betting monopoly has just extended its long-standing partnership with the Football Association of Finland until 2030. That means another five years of working together on both football and futsal across the country.
The new deal locks in Veikkaus as the main betting partner for Finland’s national football and futsal teams. That includes the Huuhkajat (men’s), Helmarit (women’s), and all the way down to the U21s and futsal squads. Domestic competitions like Ykkösliiga, Kansallinen Liiga, and the Finnish Cups are also covered.
Finnish football betting will continue to feature heavily on Veikkaus’ platforms. Players can bet through Pitkäveto, Vakio, Live-veto and others, with plenty of action on local leagues. Vakio 1 in particular will again shine the spotlight on domestic matches during summer.
CEO Olli Sarekoski said Veikkaus is in it for the long run: “Our partnership will deepen even further through this renewed agreement.” He pointed to football’s rising popularity in Finland, and Veikkaus’ role in fueling that momentum with new content and customer perks.
The Football Association of Finland is also pleased to keep the partnership rolling. “Veikkaus has stood by us for a long time,” said Association President Ari Lahti. He emphasized that football and futsal are still growing in Finland, and having a stable, long-term partner is key.
Secretary General Marco Casagrande echoed that sentiment, saying Veikkaus understands both the cultural weight and future potential of Finnish football. “The game evolves,” he said, “but at its core remain excitement, joy, disappointment, and shared experiences.”
Finnish football betting also remains a content cornerstone for Veikkaus, with regular features, coverage, and updates across its media channels. For a brand built around football since 1940, this deal keeps the focus where it’s always been — right in the heart of the game.
